TEACHING
I have taught eighteen courses at Harvard University and the University of British Columbia. These have covered most major areas of urban planning and policy and have included the breadth of courses typically required in an urban planning degree, from planning history to quantitative methods. I have taught seminars, lectures and studio courses, as well as field-based courses. Reflecting the international breadth of my research, many of my elective courses have focused on international and comparative urban planning. I received the Urban Planning and Design teaching award from students at Harvard on three occasions.
